HAPPY HALLOWEENWow...as I type this it's so hard not to type with tears of joy. I've been locked out of this website for too long, due to a dangerous encounter with a stalker. He managed to strip me of a lot of things but my love of writing to you all is my last piece of my redemption puzzle. I asked God to allow me to log in today and it finally happened. For now on I will be posting weekly updates of all things fashion and beauty. I've missed you so much fashion family. Now I have to go off for lost time!
LOVE YOU FOR RETURNING. Now let's get fashionable.

Elements of Style by Marchel'eHello Fashion Fam, Have you ever wanted your own personal stylist like the stars? What if I told you, you can have just that. I had the pleasure of getting to know Marchel'e Davis Cleveland's own freelance fashion stylist and image consultant. Other than the fact she's a doll she's also brilliant. Before making the world her runway, she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University. Her thirst for education did not stop there, she became a fellow alumni of Cleveland State University where she got her Master's of Education. She draws her inspiration from multiple facets and walks of life and it shows through her unique style. Towards the end of 2017 this well dressed diva launched her own women's fashion retail line. What can't Miss Davis do? If you ask me nothing can stop a determined woman with style. Marchel'e is also looking for brand ambassadors so be sure to take advantage dolls. Q&A What's the difference when people choose your styling vs someone else? I have a keen eye for fashion. When you have someone as myself who has studied body types and figures, I know what flatters all bodies to make you look your best, and better than everyone else. When I put a look together for my clients, or myself, captivating a room is a understatement. It may as well be my event with all the conversations surrounding what I'm wearing, or my clients look. Favorite part about what you do? The selfish part of me loves to see my vision come to life. The other side of me loves the confidence, and smile on my clients face after they have been styled, or put on one of my pieces. I really love make-over looks. What is your business goal for 2018? I give myself 5 business goals each year, but my most important goal for 2018 is to have over 20 Brand Ambassadors that I have created a way for them to earn extra cash. A true entrepreneur creates opportunity for others, and not just themselves. Name 3 celebrities you'd love to style and why? 1. Caitlyn Jenner because when you go from man to woman, you definitely need guidance on what will make you look your best. Caitlyn still looks like a man in a dress to me, and I know I could make her look stunning. 2. Rihanna because she is a free spirit with a banging body. She would allow me to be my most creative, and she would own it, and gain tons of attention when she enters a room3. Kim Kardashian. I love the fact that she loves herself and pays great attention to detail. She would make me earn my money and want nothin but pure perfection. Where do you draw inspiration from? I am inspired from the people and things I see traveling, natural elements from earth, music, home décor, and when I see someone in a not so flatting look. My mind just get to being creative. Name some staple pieces everyone should have and why are they staples to you? Both men and women should always keep a fresh new crispy white button down. Classic pieces never go out of style, and can be paired with almost anything and you look chic. Ladies need to have one staple accessory conversation piece of that is usually bold in color, oversized, and has texture. You know I'm talking about, a purse. Always wear one item that will make someone want to talk to you. That person could end up being you next business deal, partner in life, or new friend. What's the difference between style and fashion? Style is wearing a look that is unique, and one of a kind that no one else will have on. Fashion is following a trend because your favorite designer said it was hot. And many times you buy it, leave it in the closet, and never wear it, because its not even your personal style. I see you try to appeal to all types of clients...is that something you're passionate about? I pride myself, and assist my clients on developing their own personal style. BE YOU, NOT THEM! We are all different, and should look different, so this must be conveyed in the clothes we wear. I style any look! What is a trend you hope stays in 2017? The overkill of the walking billboard for designers. This isn't the 90's! When you walk around with their logo or name embellished on a shirt, purse, hoodie, headband, socks, shoes, pants, all in one look you look CRAZY!! And you know which designer, but they aren't paying me so I'm not stating their name, LOL. How can we contact you? www.stylebymarchele.com and all social media sites.
Greetings Fashion Family,
One of my favorite memories of Thanksgiving (other than oven baked mac & cheese) is Black Friday Shopping. This is your chance to get some of the most amazing deals of the year. Whether you're shopping like an Olympic Sport indoors or just online browsing, this is the best time to splurge. My suggestion this year is it take advantage of the super cheap wholesale sites that are usually Chinese based. The key is to pay attention to the material and the shipping timing. Note: Chinese sites tend to run small so curvy dolls size up! I also like to hop on Youtube and watch honest reviews on the sites before I use them. I am an affiliate of LovelyWholesale and to be honest I only but their non-polyester items. That's just my personal preference because I just don't like that material as much. Down below I'll be sure to post some cute items they have to offer. I hope you all have a beautiful Thanksgiving, get full from happiness, family, and food. Then burn it off doing my favorite exercise shopping. Click Below:
Greetings Guys and Ghouls, If you don't know me personally just know October is my favorite month. I love the fall fashion, apple cider, watching the leaves fall at the park, but most importantly HALLOWEEN. Whoever came up with the concept of mixing dressing up sexy, spooky, or creative makeup and costumes was low key a genius. Though now that I'm older I must say there is a certain category of costumes that is not OK....culture costumes. Now, when I was young and dumb I went to a frat party as a Geisha , and I honestly wish I could take it back. As a Black woman I wouldn't want anyone mocking my skin or culture as a "costume". This leads to my big fashion DON'T for Halloween do not dress up mocking nor sexualizing a culture. This also includes includes painting your skin to look like someone...trust me if your costume is good we'll know who you're suppose to be. Well I'm off my soapbox have fun and be safe. Don't be afraid to tell me your costume in the comments! Love y'all, Coco Cash Example of a good costume outside your race and/or ethnicityFun fact: I love Jimmy Fallon here he is as Lucious Lyon from Empire notice his costume was so good he didn't need "Black Face". Examples of bad costumes outside your race and/or ethnicityThese mock cultures.....see the difference?
Windsor, Forever 21, & Fashion NovaGreetings Fashion Friends, Before we get back into my friends series, I had to announce the fall trends this year. I can not think of a time I didn't tell you the fall trends because it's my absolutely favorite time for clothes and accessories! Only this time it will be a battle of my favorites Windsor, Forever 21, & Fashion Nova. I can not begin to tell you who is most trendy for this season because I personally love them all! So may the best of my faves win! I will list the images in Windsor, Forever 21, & Fashion Nova order each time! Trend #1 Political Statement TeesThe only political statement tops found dealt with woman empowerment. Which one is your favorite? Trend #2 One ShoulderFashion Nova really didn't have one shoulder options, but plenty off of the shoulder looks. I believe Forever 21 had the most clean cut one shoulder looks. Windsor mainly had them for their gowns. Trend #3 Dramatic FringeOkay dolls on this trend F21 & FN took the cake in terms of dramatic fringe. Key word is dramatic. Trend #4 PlaidF21 had enough plaid for the whole family lol. Though FN had the most unique plaid and Windsor had a select few. Trend #5 Golden GirlWindsor really only had gold accessories. I was honestly disappointed in their selection. Forever 21 options we're a little bit more clothes than Windsor but also mostly accessories. Fashion Nova had the most variety when it came to gold clothing. That being said Fashion Family they all slipped up somewhere on the trends list. Though, through it all I'd say Fashion Nova was the most trendiest, but remember loves trends are for a season STYLE is forever!
Xoxo, Coco Cash Follow The Leader, MUA & Owner of Medusa MinksGreetings Fashion Family & Beauty Bratz, Today I'm doing a spotlight on a fabulous young woman named Gabriella Cullen aka __theleader on Instagram. I know her as best friend. She is the first of my friends series. Other than the fact that she's a strong, confident, independent, ambitious mother who aspires to motivate others, especially women. She has overcome domestic abuse, low self-esteem and an unexpected pregnancy her last year of college. Since then she graced the stage with me getting our Bachelor's Degrees in Communication. The Leader has held a held a corporate position, then decided it wasn't for her. She left that world and followed her passion of being a makeup artist and business owner. She is a full time makeup artist and working on my own eyelash brand. She believes her story can inspire, motivate, and help educate. " I look forward to opening minds and showing anyone that anything is possible." -The LeaderQ & A : What or who influences you as a MUA and business woman? I am very influenced by a makeup artist named Amra. Also known as @Amrezy on IG. She inspires me because I have followed her when she was just beginning. Seeing her progress inspires me to keep going because if you really want to be your own boss especially in the beauty industry you can if you truly believe. Have you always wanted to work in beauty? I have always loved the beauty industry. I knew that no matter what I did in life the beauty industry would be a part of that. What made you create your own lash line? Lashes have always been something I'm passionate about. I have been wearing them since I was 16. I wanted create my own line so I could provide quality long wearing lashes. What sets your lash line apart from anyone else? My lashes are the highest of quality and truly provide long wear. I personally wear my lashes and they are the only lashes I've seen that give true dramatic volume. They are the true example of luxury. My lashes are easy to apply so even a beginner can easily put them on and feel instantly fabulous. What is the biggest struggle you've encountered as an up and coming MUA? My biggest struggle is the hate I've received from other makeup artists. Although the beauty community is supportive, people can get competitive when they see someone new and talented. However, I remain focused and do not let any negativity effect me. What is something no one knows about you from looking at your social media? I'm told a lot that people think I'm kind of stuck up based on my pictures. I guess because I love to dress nice that's a crime lol I'm actually the most down to earth, goofy person you could meet. What do you say to makeup haters? I really don't have much to say. You either understand it or you don't. Makeup isn't for everyone but even if it's not for you you shouldn't judge someone else for loving it. Makeup is an art for me and although I don't believe people or myself need it, I love the endless capabilities makeup has. What do you want to be known for? I want to be known for motivating women and making them feel beautiful. Women today are constantly judged no matter what category they fit in. I want to be known as the woman who brought women together and who shows the world that you can be your own boss. TOP 5 COSMETICS THE LEADER EDITIONI have a mix of high end and drugstore on my top 5. 1. Wet n wild highlighter in precious petals is my go to highlighter. MUA IG: beautybybellabeats Facebook: facebook.com/BeautyByBellaBeats Lingerie as bodysuitsHello Fashion Family,
I have been living for the trend wearing lingerie as a bodysuit. Some people may think it's too much, but when you're as extra as me it's right up your alley. I personally love it paired with denim, it gives just the right amount of sexy. Dolls if you want to be over the top (my specialty) then add beautiful "diamond" accessories. Yes, diamonds are in quotes because I personally can't afford them right now. Lol. I would actually like to credit this look to whom media deems or has deemed the snobs of Hollywood Kim K & Paris Hilton. I truly think it adds a sense of wow and edge to any of your favorite high waist jeans. Love it, hate it, let me know below. Xoxo, Coco Cash Hello Beauties & Gents,

Hey Fashion Family, This outfit I'm featuring is inspired by the fiercest Scream Queen of them all Chanel Oberlin. I had an interview at the Guess store and wanted something fresh but stylish. It was great because I did my version of her outfit with items, I already had at home. All you gems need is a solid fur coat, solid blouse, and a pencil skirt with cute heels. Chanel Oberlin is always dressed preppy and polished. I just added edge by choosing a darker color palette. I also paired it with thigh high boots to make sure it was interview appropriate (for the particular interview). Remember dolls and gents you do not have to spend a lot of money, to look like a million bucks. In Chanel's photo she's in all designer, I am not. I will leave my price break down. Shop smart and stylish darlings! Fur: Aliexpress-$20 Blouse: Forever 21-Sale Rack $5 Skirt: Sorority Gave It To Me-Free Coco CashMake Fashion Great Again. My favorite trend for Spring 17 is the utilitarian jacket. Usually, only found in the fall but popped up on major runways this year. What makes this trend great is that you can find an affordable option thrifting. The army green earth tone plays nicely with any complexion. This item gives the girlishness of an outfit edge. Gives grunge glam a since of structure. What makes it even better is that it is an unisex trend! Sooooo yes, male readers you can kill it too. |
